I got into a car acceident yesterday. I hitted a curve and flew up. Me and my dumb slef. I thought i hitted the brakes instead i hitted the gas. Dont worry im ok. The only problem is that my front bumper on the right side got tore off. I was wondering, how much is it for repair? Please help! I love my car so much! It takes me places! D;

Depends upon the car. Take it to an auto repair place and get an estimate. Could be $ 100 to $ 15,000 to get it fixed.

I am trying to calculate a budget within my tax refund. I aksed a question a few minutes ago regarding replacing brakes and the worst case scenario. This repair came up under worst case scenario for steering wheel shimmy and vibration. Just trying to figure how expensive this brake job will be if it unearths something unpleasant. (want to know how much of my refund to set aside for the not-so-fun spending!)
how much should front brakes cost? also, does your dealer charge for this…?
Posted by: | Commentsis $200 too much? i have an extended warranty and asked them to check out my car-they are charging $75 if I don’t pay for the $200 repair. What’s the point in having an extended warranty? is this a normal practice?
I know that brakes aren’t covered. I was referring to the $75 fee that I have to pay if I don’t agree to have them do the repairs after they diagnose it.

Posted by: | CommentsThis is the third altenator I have had to replace in a year. The last 2 are under warranty, however, the shop I took it to wants to charge me $194.00 to repair it. I have a 1999 Ford Taurus and want to know if they are trying to rip me off. Thanks
hi- i recently bought a house to find out that the duct work is completely messed up – seems silly to repair it when its in such bad condition so I figured it would be best to go ahead and replace the entire system which should add value to the home. The unit has been acting up since I bought the place and I have already sunk $800 in repairs this season alone. So, I am thinking of replacing the entire system- unit and ductwork. I am located in SC- the house is less than 1200 square feet and there are currently 9 duct vents total throughout the house. It is a one story home with decent sized crawl space. Any advice on what kind of unit I need, and what a fair cost would be to install everything would be much appreciated. thanks

Posted by: | Commentsi drove my dad’s car yesterday and got stuck in traffic and ended up being rear ended by some big SUV. Being a new driver and uninsured, i panicked and didn’t take down the guy’s info and he ended up giving me false info. so now i either have to buy a new car or repair the car myself. is it even possible to repair a trunk in this condition? the car still runs btw

My dad bought me a car and he pays for the insurance and the tax and everything on it and he always tells me to be careful.
And now this morning I was reversing in a carpark and I crashed into one of those concrete posts and it broke the lights and made a massive dent in the front its all squished in.
Im so scared of telling him when he gets back from work, he will kill me! What can I say???
Do you think I could get it repaired quickly and cheaply without him knowing??
