San francisco doesn’t really have much computer repair shops, only one I know is Geek Squad and I don’t know there services. My computer is sorta weird lately, I can’t turn it on when I click the start button once, have to keep pushing it and pushing it till it starts for atleast 5 minutes. Dell told me it was either power supply, not enough energy to boost my computer up or Motherboard failure, but I can’t tell which one is the problem. Can “Geek squad” help me fix this problem? Thanks

Please help a computer challenged person. I don’t want to buy an expensive program to do what ought to be a simple thing.
This is whats happening:
My Computer wont shut down or do a restart properly it keeps going to a screen that says logging off and then stays there.
Some Programs will open such as task manager and a few others and a little icon will stay in the task bar but they never actually open the program.
It wont let me install new programs. such as new spyware and virus programs.
I’ve run AVG,Malware bites, windows defender, Spyware terminator and CCleaner and they all come up with nothing and ive updated them all.
Ive done a system restore and in both normal and save mode and run all of my virus software in safe mode and still nothing.
My wireless and internet connections folder wont open and the wireless icon in the task bar just stays there and wont respond when i click on it or try to open it but it will randomly connect to the internet even though the icon says it is not connected.
would like to see if anyone can help before i have to take it to a computer repair.
How many sales on average would a computer shop do a day/week/month?

I wanted to know how much profit on average would I make on a product and how many customers in the first few years would I get?

How do you restart the WHOLE computer sytem?
Posted by: | CommentsOk, my friend gave me his laptop for free and when I went on the laptop it had a lot of his personal stuff, a lot of music I dislike , wrong settings for virtually everything I had, a lot of unnecessary stuff downloaded. So I was wondering how do I restart the whole system which will delete everything and make the computer sort of start over? I remember having my other computer repaired and he wiped out eveyrthing. Really appreciate any feedback which contributes to this issue. Thanks!
Unfortunately my friend did not give me any CD with it, just the laptop and charger. I really want to restart it too because he did state that their may be a virus located in it. If anyone can help me, please state where besides the CD that does it because I don’t have it. I will REALLY,REALLY appreciate it!
I think I pretty much screwed up my whole computer?
Posted by: | CommentsAlright, well i decided to go get my old emachines computer from 2006 out from my storage building cuz i thought i could try to get it working. well, the reason it wasnt working is because it had an error at the startup screen saying “NTLDR is compressed. Press Ctrl Alt Del to restart” and i would restart but it would do the same thing over and over. well i took it part and I think i broke a few things like one of the connectors on the processor because i put it in wrong, i completey tore off the graphics card slot where theres nothing but wires sticking up, and now when i turn the power on nothing turns on. the blue light on the power button turns on but the computer doesnt start up. well what im asking is did i completely screw the whole computer up, or is there a chance i can fix it without taking it a computer repair shop. i appreciate any help. thanks
