Leaking Roof–homeowners Insurance?

weve had heavy rain for 3 days our roof leaked around a venf (the one that runs on the same pipes as the toilets) all the way to the basement. the attic is wet on the inside as well as some of the wood around the vent there was water on the basement floor. basement is not finished so thats not a big deal, but im worried about the attic being wet as well as inbetween the walls where the vent is. do you think if there is damage to inside of the walls my homeowners will cover it?
