This is so accurate. I didn’t realize how unique Pittsburgh dads are until I left western Pennsylvania – I thought this was how all dads acted!

… and you keep it up, you’ll get nothin but hose water!
i love the huggies reference
What’s nice about these clips is that it’s not the usual over-exaggerated Pittsburgh accent, but an accurate, normal Pittsburgh accent.
I can’t stop watching these clips! I’m not from Pittsburgh, but lived there for a couple years. My buddies from there sound exactly like this dude. CLASSIC!!
y’all say pop also
Love the Lemon Blennd reference! Hilarious!

‘yinz’ pittsburgh dad gotta do one where yinz is comin back to yer ‘haus’ from ‘daun taun pixburgh’ and ya meets some ‘jagoffs’ in the scheetz who are being ‘nebbie’ n’at
@mnrobb : that was lemon blennnd!!! (with 2 or 3 n’s; God that was great stuff! You can still find it on the Internet!
My dad would say: “Yinz kids stay out da icebox an’ da goldenage pop! Ya rune mom’s chipchop ham an’ I’m gonna pass out some lickins!” We’d reply, “Oooh lickins! Here’s one for you, one for you, and one for you!”. From the living room would come: “Wiseguys, huh? I’m gettiin’ my belt !!” and Gramma would respond back, “Oh your daddy’s just dutch!” (meaning “full of beans”). Life in Western PA…I miss it so! Jeeta piece-a pizza? Grab one an’ a Iron City; game’s startin!
Shouldn’t it be “yins” instead of “yous”? Just sayin.
