is landlord responsible for spoilage when freezer doesn’t work?
ByI have lived in the same house for 8 yrs. It is extremely difficult to get the landlord to replace anything and some things are beyond repair. Today the refrigerator/freezer quit working – for the 3rd time. The past 2 times I had to throw out hundreds of dollars of food and I expect I will again this time. Can I deduct the amount of my loss from my next rent check? Thanks!
