Is it necessary to have grout sealed and if so is it worth an extra $2 per square foot done by my installer?
ByThe person I’ve been planning on using for tile installation added on a last minute charge of $2 a sq foot for grout sealant. Is this something that should be done (it is for a kitchen backsplash and adjoining wall) and if so can we do it ourselfves? We have sealed tiles ourselves in the past so is sealing grout similar?
