I think I pretty much screwed up my whole computer?
Alright, well i decided to go get my old emachines computer from 2006 out from my storage building cuz i thought i could try to get it working. well, the reason it wasnt working is because it had an error at the startup screen saying “NTLDR is compressed. Press Ctrl Alt Del to restart” and i would restart but it would do the same thing over and over. well i took it part and I think i broke a few things like one of the connectors on the processor because i put it in wrong, i completey tore off the graphics card slot where theres nothing but wires sticking up, and now when i turn the power on nothing turns on. the blue light on the power button turns on but the computer doesnt start up. well what im asking is did i completely screw the whole computer up, or is there a chance i can fix it without taking it a computer repair shop. i appreciate any help. thanks

If the processor is broken, you’re screwed. I don’t know why you took it apart in the first place, because you were having a software error, not a hardware error. So yeah, it’s pretty much toasted and not worth fixing. Next time make sure you know more about computers before opening it up and trying to fix it blindly. Good luck in the future.
considering you ripped off your graphics card, i’d say you can’t fix it even if it was fixable.
The problem you had could have easily been fixed. Your ntloader file was corrupt. What you should have done was put in the windows installation disk and restart. Then press R to enter the recovery console. Press 1, then enter your administrator password. Then type cd, then type copy D:i386ntldr (assuming your disk drive is d). Then your problem would have been easily fixed. But since you took that thing apart you probably screwed it up permanently. Just touching the insides of a computer without being grounded from static will fry the circuits. Let alone physically breaking the parts. A way you could fix it without taking it to the shop would be to order the parts online and put them in yourself. I don’t recommend doing that at all since your obviously not a trained technician. So your only other options are to either buy a new computer or take it to a shop.
nice job lol ur screwed
that NTLDR error could have been fixed just by re-installing the Operating Sysytem ( Windows XP probably ). Now that the processor pin is broken and the graphics card was ripped out, theres little hope for that computer, unless you want to buy a new motherboard ( good luck finding it ) and a processor.
Probably better off buying another computer, and try not to destroy it next time! Although it can be fun, but expensive fun…
