How many people live in the basement of their house/apartment?

I’m livin in the basement of a 3-bedroom townhouse. I moved to a new area (Dearborn) for a new job, and I had to room with other young people working at Ford, also.
So for whatever reason you live in the basement, perhaps still livin’ at home 
share your story.
I do! And I know 2 other people who do too! Pincher bugs are gross…so is my basement’s 70′s shag carpet.
I live in the basement apartment at my complex. I enjoy it because I work nights so it stays somewhat dark during the morning while I sleep but then when I get up about one or two in the afternoon I can open the blinds and get some sunlight. It’s in a convenient location for me and works pretty well for my schedule.
