I bought my laptop back in April, so it is still under warranty for HP…what happened was I dropped on the floor (not from high up, just slightly) so now my laptop will not turn on. There is no physical evidence that it was dropped–no cracked screen or anything.

Thats not a problem, I am just going to send it to HP so they will fix it.

My problem is, when I do that, they will wipe my hardrive clean…Since my computer wont turn on, how am I supposed to get the files off of there before I send my laptop in to be repaired?

Am I supposed to take my hardrive out and send it somewhere? What are my options?
Im very sure my hardrive was not damaged, it honestly barely hit the floor, and it was just a corner of the laptop, not near the hardrive
