We have a gas furnace that keeps popping the “limit switch” when we force it to run. We have to crank the thermostat up to the 80s to get it to run, then when it does run, it will not shut off on its own and it pops the switch. We replaced the thermostat thinking that it might be the problem, but it wasn’t. Any suggestions would be appreciated. It is starting to get into colder weather here and we need our furnace. It is just the heating, not hooked up to any cooling system.
