Can anyone recommend me a honest car repair station in/around annapolis, Maryland?
wherever I go they try to say some reason and sell me of something or even lie to rip me off more. I find it difficult nowadays. Any recommendation is welcome. Thanks

any one who is bbb registered also with a triple a certifacation and a shop that has hired A.S.E certified mechanics that means they care about quality of the work they do

Inspections……….Not free anywhere I know of.
Down here in my area it’s @ $ 80 (plus parts) for a/c service .
If your system is just low because of a small leak……
The cheapest fix you will be able to do yourself is get a can of recharge .
They sell it at most auto parts stores………and it has a little gauge to prevent you from over pressurizing the system and locking up the compressor pump.
@ $ 20
Thats about as cheap as it is going to get.

Such as oil changes, but what about breaks and rotors changes? Does that usually save a lot on the labor or not worth the extra time to do it? Any other “home garrage” jobs that can save a lot of cash?

Oil changes don’t save you a whole lot, but they’re easy. Brake and rotor changes are a little harder but they save you more. Exhaust replacement isn’t too hard and can save you quite a bit.
Really any repair you can manage yourself is worthwhile. But if you’re not sure about it, do yourself a favor and pay a professional.

I wrecked my car today & I wanted to know if I had to take my car to one of the repair shops my insurance company gives me or if I can take it anywhere. I have USAA insurance if that matters.

My car was in an accident, so i called the cops. I wanted to get my car towed to my dealers but since my dealer was closed I could not get it towed to him. In the mean time cop called the local Body Repair shop guy & he towed my car to his shop. So can I take my car from body repair shop to my dealer for repairs?
